[RO] Roma e măreață, unică și are cu ce surprinde plăcut orice turist, chiar și pe cel mai capricios. Nu ai voie, dar nici nu ai cum să te plictisești in capitala Italiei. Dacă ești pasionat de istorie, arhitectură și ruine, pe toate acestea le găsești în Roma. Colosseo, Foro Romano, Palatino sau Circo Massimo te duc înapoi în trecut în Imperiul Roman. Iar ruinele rămase sunt dovada cît de măreț e acest oraș și cînd te gîndești că toate acestea au fost construite cu mai bine de 2000 ani în urmă. Fontana di Trevi, Monumentul lui Vittorio Emanuele II, Piazza di Spagna cu multiplele ei trepte reprezintă doar unele din minunatele monumente care reprezintă Roma în întreaga lume. Fie că ești credincios sau nu, catolic sau de altă religie, nu uita să vizitezi Vaticanul atunci cînd mergi în Roma. Multe, dar foarte multe ai de descoperit în capitala Italiei...
[EN] Rome is great, unique and even the most capricious tourist for sure will fall in love with this city from the first sight. You cannot and there is no change to get bored in Rome, it has something to offer for any of us. If you are interested in history, architecture and ruins, then you should definitely go there. Colosseum, Forum Romanum, Palatine Hill or Circus Maximum bring you in the past and you can feel for a moment like you were in Roman Empire. The ruins of something that was built more than 2000 years ago represent perhaps the most valuable memory of the past. Trevi Fountain, the Monument of Vittorio Emanuele II, Spanish square and Spanish steps are just few of the many other wonderful attractions that Rome has and for which it is known worldwide. You should definitely visit Vatican, doesn’t matter if you are religious or not, catholic or of other religion. Visit Rome and know the hidden stories of the past, enjoy the tastiest kitchen in the world, and feel the Italians’ charisma.
[RO] După patru ani și mai mult de zece ani, respectiv, eu și soțul am vizitat din nou Roma. Cam așa aș rezuma eu acele cinci zile petrecute acolo:
- Ne-am cazat într-un camping, modest, dar cu de toate: bazin, restaurant, discotecă, și cel mai important, cred eu, pentru a supraviețui în zilele toride de vară, căsuțe cu aer condiționat.
- Dimineața o începeam cu un mic dejun delicios tipic italian, croissant, cappuccino și suc proaspăt de portocale.
- După mic dejun, plini de energie, porneam să exploarăm Roma. Temperaturile extrem de înalte ne epuizau repede de puteri, iar noi nu puteam decât să finisăm excursiile pe la amiază și să ne relaxăm puțin savurând câte un pahar de vin și să gustăm din bucătăria italiană, care e atât de variată și super gustoasă. De data aceasta ne-am alintat papilele gustative cu pasta amatriciana și carbonara, si desigur pizza.
- Tot în Roma am mâncat cea mai gustoasă înghețată vreodată, deși e relativ scumpă, își merită toți banii.
- După jumătate de zi petrecută hoinărind pe străzile Romei reveneam în camping unde ne aștepta apa caldă din bazin.
- Cina o pregăteam singuri, de fapt intram în supermarket, unde ne făceam plinul cu bunătăți italiene.
- Serile le încheiam cu cîte un pahar de prosecco și pe post de cină aveam prosciutto, copt sau crud, cașcaval, parmezan, pecorino sau stracciatella.
Deci cam așa am petrecut noi timpul în Roma, și ultimele zile de vară...
[EN] I visited Rome for the first time four years ago, while my husband more than ten years, although he has been lived in Italy for almost 17 years. Our trip to Rome was a short one and this is how it was:
- We stayed in a camping, quite modest but with everything necessary for a stay of several days: pool, restaurant, disco and airco in the rooms, which I think is very important during the summer.
- We started our mornings with a very delicious Italian breakfast (cappuccino, croissant and fresh orange juice).
- After breakfast, full of energy we were ready to explore Rome. The excursions couldn’t last more than half a day due to very high temperatures. But is was perfect to relax in a restaurant enjoying a glass of cold prosecco and Italian food. You cannot miss pasta prepared in various ways, lasagna and of course pizza.
- Also in Rome I ate the most tasty ice-cream ever from the oldest ice-cream salon. Although it is a bit more expensive compared to other places, if you are a sweet-teeth do not miss it.
- The mornings were dedicated for exploring Rome, but in the afternoons we enjoyed the sun and swam in the pool.
- Each day we went out for the lunch, but for the dinners we prepared something by ourselves. Of course we did not cook or prepared complex meals. Actually we just entered the supermarkets and bought the Italian specialities. The evenings we liked to spend enjoying a glass of prosecco and prosciutto, either raw or cooked, and different kinds of cheese like parmesan, pecorino, mozzarella or stracciatella.
Thus, this is a short summary of our trip to Rome, Italy in the last days of the summer…
